The charity committed to ending homelessness in Wales will continue its partnership with the Swansea Half Marathon for 2024.
The race which is renowned for being Wales’ biggest summer half marathon will be held on Sunday 9th June for its 10th anniversary event and will be providing dedicated places for those who wish to run for Crisis.
Steph Hole, charity and race manager at Front Runner Events said:
“We are proud to be working with Crisis for our 10th anniversary event next June. We understand the importance our event is for charities to offer a platform for fundraising and as one of the largest single-day sporting event fundraisers in Wales we are delighted to be continuing our partnership in 2024.”
There are just 30 places available for those who wish to be part of #TeamCrisis in 2024. But for those who have already signed up, you can still join in to help raise as much as they can toward Crisis South Wales.
Jo Leonard, fundraising manager at Crisis said:
“At Crisis we provide education, training and support for people threatened with homelessness, or who are homeless, in South Wales and campaign for the changes needed to end homelessness for good. With the help of the running community, you’ll be making a huge difference to people across Wales. And once you join, you’ll get all the support you need to help you reach the finish line feeling proud of what you’ve helped achieve!”
